Today, my daughter arrived at the college in a highly anxious state and left walking on air. Not only did she have a celebratory balloon courtesy of yourselves, but a C grade pass in her GCSE Mathematics, also courtesy of yourselves. I cannot praise your staff and college highly enough. The tuition you give and the examinations you offer, have allowed two of my daughters the opportunity to gain the much sought-after Maths and English GCSEs when main stream education was failing them.
Now, through your work, one is at Bath University studying Contemporary Art Studies (which, without iGCSE English she could not have done) and the other, now has her iGCSE English and GCSE Maths to allow her to complete her Level 3 Child Care qualification and so gain her licence to practice.
Your Team’s professionalism and ‘can do’ attitude is outstanding, although my biggest gratitude has to go to your superb Tutors. They have worked brilliantly with Joanna and finally made even Maths make sense to her!  I will be eternally grateful for their support and sheer professionalism.

When we attempted to find an Exam Centre willing to host our Home Educated daughter for her GCSEs, we really struggled. Her exam Access Arrangements, relating to health issues and SEN, were too onerous for our local schools and colleges to help and after many months of trying it began to look like she would be unable to sit her exams. Thankfully, we were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation for Macclesfield Tutorial College, who have a long history of supporting young people with Additional Needs. From the moment of our first approach, the support we received was outstanding. The staff at MTC are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely dedicated. They helped us to navigate the complexities associated with finalising her Access Arrangements, and were able to secure us the opportunity for our daughter to sit her examinations. They even arranged a home visit to advise on the most suitable set-up for the exams, and to ensure that our daughter met at least one of her invigilators ahead of the ‘real thing’ – an absolute gift given her significant anxiety ahead of the exams themselves.
